Christmas Meeting

After a long and painful wait, our next meeting came. Clayton had booked a flight to Birmingham for christmas. It was time to meet my family and for us to celebrate the holiday season together. My mum and dad drove me to the airport, I was so excited to be in my hunnies arms again. We got to the airport a little earlier than planned, so I sat down and starred at the arrivals board anxiously awaiting for his plane to land.

His flight had finally landed, I got up and walked over to the arrivals lounge. Minutes later Clayton walked through the double doors. I ran up to him and held him so tight, we lightly kissed each other, then walked over to the bench for him to get his bearings. My parents greeted Clayton, then slowly walked away for us to be alone. Clayton wrapped his arms around me tightly. As we both exchanged "I love you's" he opened his carry on flight bag and brought out a cute little teddy bear for me. Everything was complete just being with the one I loved again.

The next couple of days were meeting the family and friends. Clayton seemed very overwhelmed at the fact that I had so much family. On the 21st of December my parents had organised an Engagement party for us both. We had many gifts and cards off family and friends. The party was great, just being with Clayton my family and friends meant the world to me. We had a disco, and a lovely Engagement cake, with the Welsh and US flag joined as one. We also danced our first ever dance to "Robbie Williams- Angels" It was truly wonderful.

Christmas morning arrived, we all sat in the lounge opening our christmas presents. I was in Clayton's arms just as it should be. Everything was perfect, until Clayton got sick. Clayton seemed to have had a very mild epileptic seizure, we were all quite puzzled at this seeming he'd never suffered from epilepsy before. He spend the whole of christmas day in bed with a migraine headache. Christmas dinner wasn't much of a celebration ether with us all worried about Clayton. Also my mum had come down with very bad flu so things weren't good.

I spent the whole of Christmas and boxing day taking care of Clayton. He started to get better, but he extended his trip only by a couple of days to make sure he was ok. Things were starting to look a bit better but then I went down with the flu. At least we both took care of each other, it was nice to feel needed and loved. And to share Christmas with the one you loved was priceless even though you were both sick.
