Online Relationship
The Party was perfect, the music and company were great and the food my mother had prepared was scrumptious. There was one thing missing though, Clayton. But what I didn’t seem to realise was that there was another surprise waiting in the wings. My friends and me started to walk over to the jukebox to pick some tunes, when one of my sisters grabbed me. “Quick, your other surprise awaits” I smiled and said. “What surprise” “You’ll see” I walked with her, until she stopped and handed me the phone. I was very puzzled so I put the phone to my ear. “Hello” I said softly. “Hi Sweetie, how are you” I recognized the voice, but it took me a minute to realise that the voice I was hearing was American, and it was really Clayton. I blushed instantly and giggled. “Oh my gosh Clayton” A soft American voice replied, “Mmm hmm I’ve been wanting to hear your voice for so long now Natalie, and I thought your Birthday would be the perfect time to call” I couldn’t believe it, hearing his voice was so amazing I felt like I was on cloud 9. His American accent is so soft and sexy I melted right there and then, my mouth was so dry and I was shaking with excitement. "Well how did you get this number?” I said all shaky. “One of your sisters helped me out one day online” I couldn’t believe my sisters were in on the surprise, but it was the best surprise I had ever had. We talked for a good 15mins on the phone, although it got to the point where I couldn’t hear him that much cause of the background noise. So he agreed he’d call my house number at midnight, after the party.
Midnight came and he phoned right on the dot. I answered the phone in a soft but shy voice. Still very nervous, I told Clayton all about the party and my Birthday. That night we talked for 2hrs, just about my Birthday and all my surprises. It was amazing to hear his voice before I went to sleep. I will never ever forget the first time he called. These days we call each other everyday, it’s hard to believe that on the first few months of calling each other. I’d have a dry mouth and go all shaky, it would always take me at least 10mins to dial his phone number, cause I was always so nervous. Well after my Birthday, things were great we met online everyday, phoned each other once a week. And send tapes to each other with our favourite music. Things were just as they should be.
