On July 6th 2004 Clayton and I took our marriage vows and became husband & wife. The whole day was perfect, magical, and was very memorable for both families.

The day started with me heading to the hair dressers to have my hair & makeup done. Clayton's mom was picking my mum and me up at the hotel, I had stayed in my sisters hotel room the night before so us girls could have a hen night. As I walked outside to the car, I had a lump in my throat it was raining. I had a feeling it was going to rain a week before the Wedding, and just my luck I'd have rain on my wedding day. Clayton's mom smiled and said 'It's considered lucky to have rain on a Wedding day' my mum agreed and I sighed with a sense of relieve.

We got to the hairdressers right on time, I got my Tiara ready and gave it to Bobby the hairdresser. As Bobby started preparing things she asked if I was nervous, at the time I really wasn't it seemed kinda of surreal that I was here already. I ended up saying I was excited, and of course I was. My hair was washed & blow-dried and then Bobby started to style it all for me. I had little twists on the top part of my head, then she did little curls all over. She placed the Tiara on my head and pinned it in place, as I looked in the mirror I could see my mother and my mother in law to be looking at me in amazement. 'You look beautiful' my mother said gazing over at me, I smiled and thanked Bobby for a wonderful job.

Back at the hotel, the Bridesmaids were getting ready. We had little over an hour before the Limousine picks everyone up at the hotel. The Wedding was at 3pm, and the Chapel was 2hrs away so I had made arrangements for the Limousine to pick my family up from the hotel at noon. The girls were all dressed and ready to go, although they had their hair in curlers and hadn't finished their make up. They agreed they'd finish up in the Bridal room of the Chapel. I started to get ready, I put my Jewelry on, my stockings and shoes. I was going to put my dress on, but was told to get ready at the Chapel instead as we didn't have time.

The Limousine arrived at the hotel right on time, the well presented Chauffeur opened the doors as we all piled in. As the long journey began, we opened some soda, and started to talk about how things were going for Clayton, I couldn't wait to see him, all dressed up.
