Our Wedding Story
The Reception
Our first dance was so romantic, we danced to Shania Twain "You're Still the One" The first verse rang true to our hearts....
"When I first saw you, I saw love. And the first time you touched me, I felt love. And after all this time, you're still the one I love. Looks like we made it Look how far we've come my baby We mighta took the long way We knew we'd get there someday They said, "I bet they'll never make it" But just look at us holding on We're still together still going strong"
I felt really emotional dancing to that song, as we've worked so hard to get to this point. And now we are 'Husband & Wife' it's amazing to see what hard work and time can get you. It feels really surreal like a dream almost, but it's not, it's real. I'm finally at peace with the man I truly love, and here's to many more happy and wonderful years together.
The evening was almost over, the day had gone so quick. But before we were on our way, it was gift time and not for the Bride & Groom ether. For the parents, Bridesmaids, Maid of honor and Best Man. They were all presented with some wonderful gifts, with thanks from the Bride & Groom. The mother's of the Bride & Groom were also given flower bouquets, this is also a well known U.K tradition. As we left the Chapel confetti was thrown all over us, we entered the Limousine and it was off to our Honeymoon Hotel.
