Things I'll Miss

There are so many different things I'll miss when I'll emigrate. I think the first and fore most will be my family and friends. I'm so close to my family, I really don't know how I'll be able to live so far away from everyone. These are just a few things I'll miss while living in the States.

Family & Friends - I'm so close to my family & my friends it's going to be so hard leaving everyone. I'm sure everyone will visit often, and I'll get to phone regulary. I love you all!!

Cadburys Chocolate - Ahh I'm going to miss Cadburys Chocolate so much. I really hate Hersheys Chocolate, I'd much prefer Cadburys. I have seen Cadburys Chocolate in some stores so that's cool.

A Good Old English Trifle - My mother made this for Clayton one afternoon while he was in the UK. Actually Clayton didn't take a fondness to it very much, he said it was too sweet. A Trifle is often made for desert, it's normally made in a large desert bowl. A Trifle consits of many yummy layers. The bottom layer has sponge cake which are often called (lady fingers) as they are shaped into little fingers. Then it's covered with a mixute of Strawberry Jelly (Jello) fruit can sometimes be added to the jelly layer. Then there's a layer of Custard and then dream topping which is basically thick whipped cream. The top is often sprinkled and decorated with hundreds and thousands, or fruit personal preference really. You can get boxes to make the trifle yourself, my mother has shipped a couple out to me so that's nice.

UK Christmas Traditions -I know this is a silly one I'll miss, but Christmas always makes me feel like I'm 5 years old again.

Sunday Roast - I'll definitely miss my mothers lovely Sunday Roast Dinner, I guess I'll have to start making my own each Sunday. It probably won't be as good as my mums though.

Fresh Milk - Fresh Milk being delivered to your door every morning by the milk man/women. I liked having the milk fresh in Milk bottles delivered to your door every morning. Clayton also loved this a great deal while he was here in the UK. The US don't have milk man/women.
